While Dr. Bodner has been performing laser procedures for almost 20 years, his training is in pain management procedures goes back even further.   1. Topical anesthesia (numbing cream). Topical anesthetics may change a painful treatment to a painless treatment. But it’s all about the right topical ingredients. Prescription topicals are far stronger than over the counter options, and not all prescription options are equal. Dr. Bodner can make sure you get the option best for you!
  2. Intradermal lidocaine injections - for those that are very sensitive or don’t dealing with creams, Dr. Bodner can use a variety of techniques to inject the area being treated with Lidocaine. This often completely eliminates discomfort
  3. Pro-Nox™ for those that don’t like needles or numbing cream, Pro-Nox™ is a great option. Pro-Nox™ is an FDA cleared analgesia that delivers 50% Nitrous Oxide and 50% Oxygen. Best known for its ability to safely and effectively ease pain, anxiety, and discomfort
  4. Cold -including Air cooling devices such as a zimmer chiller and ice are simple ways that Bod Medical also uses. The Pagani cryo -t device is able to get controlled cold much deeper.
